If you got this message trying to install Safari 4:
It’s not possible to installa Safari on this volume: ERROR_SEC
It means you have not an updated MacOSX. Simply that. Update to the latest release and it will be ok

Aún después de actualizar mi Mac a Mac OS X 10.5.6 (el mas reciente marzo 2009) me sale ese mismo error.

Even after downloading the latest upgrade for Mac OS X (10.5.6), Safari 4 still does not work.

Same as rodanjel. Got the latest upgrade and the error still appears. Smth funny, first it said that i couldnt install. Needed the 10.5 at least. Did that and now it reads:
It’s not possible to installa Safari on this volume: ERROR_SEC
Please help.
Me pasa lo mismo que a rodaniel. La diferencia es que al principio me pedia mínimo el 10.5 (y tenia mas que eso). Instale el ultimo (10.5.6) y aparece:
It’s not possible to installa Safari on this volume: ERROR_SEC

Bueno, simplemente hice el procedimiento de actualización nuevamente y ¡funcionó!!!!. Es decir, toca volver a actualizar.
